Howdy! Welcome to Junnan's homepage!

Junnan Yu is a Ph.D. student in Information Science at the University of Colorado Boulder, Colorado, United States. He is a member of the Creative Communities research group. Advised by Professor Ricarose Roque, his research is focused on STEM education and interactive learning technologies for children. Currently, he is working on learning kits that can engage young children in computational skills through creative expression and coding. In addition, he is also interested in understanding and supporting online learning for kids.

Before joining CU, he studied Human-Computer Interaction and got a Master's degree in Design from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China. In June 2014, he received B.E. in Industrial Design from the College of Computer Science & Technology, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China.
